Kete

Where it belongs

Kete is a lightly sweet bread eaten across Eastern Anatolia, the Eastern Black Sea and the South Caucasus. It changes with the place that makes it, taking different forms in many provinces of Turkey, chiefly Kars, Ardahan, Erzincan and Gümüşhane. Its plain taste makes it a favourite for travelling and for breakfast.
