Tatar böreği

Where it belongs

Tatar böreği is an unfilled kind of mantı made from pieces of dough usually cut into triangles. Found in Ottoman cooking, it is known across many regions of Turkey, chiefly Erzurum, Eskişehir and Gaziantep; a plain pastry, it is boiled and served with yoghurt and garlic.
