Mantı is a dish of spiced mince tucked into small parcels of dough and boiled. As much a part of Central Asian cooking as of Turkish, it is loved from the former Soviet lands to Afghanistan and Pakistan. It shares kinship with dumpling dishes of the Far East such as baozi and mandu.
