Laz böreği is a sweet pastry made from yufka, butter, milk pudding and syrup. It is made in the Eastern Black Sea, especially in Artvin, Rize and Trabzon where the Laz live. Its pudding can be scented with lemon, orange or rose water, and the Greek galaktobureko, made with semolina, is one of its relatives.
