Kerebiç is a Mersin sweet made from semolina and filled with pistachio or walnut, its structure recalling içli köfte. It is served with natık, a foam-like topping drawn from soapwort root. Once made only during Ramadan and holidays, it has become a year-round, geographically indicated speciality of Mersin.
