Kurucay Hoyuk is a mound about 15 km west of Burdur and 1.5 km southwest of Kurucay village, sitting on a hill overlooking Lake Burdur and bounded on three sides by deep stream beds. The archaeological settlement measures roughly 90 by 60 metres and stands 8 metres high, with its summit 110 metres above the lake.
