Hacilar (Hacilar Hoyuk) is an early settlement in southwestern Turkey, about 23 km south of Burdur, lying in a valley between the northern ridges of the Taurus with the Koca Cay flowing to its west. Its earliest stage dates back to 7040 BC, and archaeological remains show the site was abandoned and reoccupied on more than one occasion.
