Bearing the name of Gaziantep's legendary cook Emine Göğüş, this museum in the Şahinbey district is a living archive of Anatolian culinary art. Emine Göğüş, who documented Turkish culinary culture in the early years of the Republic, wrote down hundreds of recipes and built a bridge of wisdom between generations. While traditional clay ovens, copper kitchen implements, and handmade tableware in the museum summon you into the depths of time, the preparation processes of Gaziantep's famous baklava, kol böreği, hummus, and multilayered soups are explained. Each display case reveals the social structure of the region and the role of women in household management, balancing artistry with autonomy. The museum holds Emine Göğüş's own written works, handwritten recipes, and photographs, witnesses to a culture.
