Editor's Note
It is one of the caravanserais of the Anatolian Seljuk period. Built entirely of cut stone, it stands on the Suşehri–Niksar road and measures about 20×100 m. Its walls remain standing, but its upper covering collapsed in the 1939 earthquake. A significant part of the remaining structure has also been ruined by treasure hunters.
