These caves are located on the Çayıralan–Gemerek road, at the Çağarşak locality just before reaching the town of Sızır. Quite ancient, these caves have a long history stretching from the Romans back to the Hittites, and they may well belong to even earlier periods. Although the locality is rich in historical terms, it has not been adequately studied to this day. Because of the fragile nature of the rock, it is highly likely that the front parts of the caves have collapsed over time. The caves contain roughly 10 to 20 rooms, spread over two levels.
