Editor's Note
The grave of Salih Oğlu Osman Murat, bearing the date AH 1333 (AD 1915) and located between the town of Sızır and the village of Çat, is a walled structure containing a single tomb. According to local accounts, Osman Murat had wronged the Armenians. In response, the Armenians set a trap for him, captured him, bound his hands and feet, and killed him by burning him in a bread oven.
