Editor's Note
This baklava shop was opened by Nuri Bilge in 1956. Having come to Istanbul from Gaziantep at a young age, Nuri Bilge became a master in 1950 and worked at the Karaköy Güllüoğlu establishment until 1953. Bilgeoğlu Baklavacısı is still run by the same family. Source: Bilgeoğlu Baklavacısı.
