Editor's Note
The old Nur Patisserie, run by the brothers Mihal and Vasil, was taken over by Osman Devrim in 1966 and continued in operation. The patisserie was named by Sadun Boro, the first Turkish sailor to sail around the world, on his yacht Kısmet. Bought in 1984 by Macit Sönmez and Ahmet Gülhan, the patisserie is run today by Sabri and Sertaç Gülhan. Source: A Stroll Through Moda from Past to Present, Deniz Kavukçuoğlu, 2015
