Editor's Note
Faik İskender Göksel, who opened a pharmacy in Kızıltoprak in 1902, moved his pharmacy to its present location in 1928. Until his death in 1936 it was called the Moda Pharmacy. The transferred shop was taken over by Halil Bey, father of the pharmacist Melih Ziya Sezer. With its old furnishings, old medicine boxes and bottles, the interior of this historic pharmacy, whose name he changed to Yeni Moda, resembles a veritable museum. After Melih Ziya Sezer's death on 29 June 2022, the pharmacy was closed to visitors.
