Editor's Note
Construction: AH 1088 / AD 1677. The inscription above its arch reads: "Water from the face of the saints, the helper of the age / The essence that unravels the symbols of difficulties / The pole of the era, master of divine knowledge / His Excellency Sheikh Selami, that pure being / Truly he had this fountain built / Granting abundance to the thirsty of the universe / Şuuri spoke its chronogram with ardour / The fountain of the spring of life still flows (1088)."
