Editor's Note
It stood near Ahmediye Square, on the left side of Gündoğumu Avenue, close to the corner. On the qibla side of the mosque was the Sünbülî Lodge of Saçlı Şeyh Hüseyin Efendi, whose door opened onto Toptaşı Avenue, and in front of the portico stood the open tomb of Korucu Baba. The locations of the mosque and tomb are clearly visible in old pictures of Üsküdar. According to these, the mosque's portico was of wood, while its minaret on the right was built of finely cut stone. This short, stubby minaret stood right at the edge of Gündoğumu Avenue.
