Located between No. 11 and No. 43 on Ortaköy's Bulgurcu Street, these are three-story timber row houses with bay windows, built for Jews who had emigrated from Russia. (tayproject.org) The poet and painter Habib Gerez was born in one of these houses in 1926 and lived here with his family. (Source: Şalom newspaper)
