Editor's Note
Its inscription is set into the wall in the courtyard of the Kerime Hatun Mosque. The transcription of the fountain's inscription was made on 14 January 2026 by Mr. Furkan Yiğit Gürleyik. It reads: a charitable work of Ahmed Ağa, chief of the bodyguards (ser-kavvâsân) of the former Grand Vizier His Excellency Muhammed Husrev Pasha, master of good deeds and benefactions. Year AH 1270 (1854).
