Editor's Note
Built in the early years of the Republic as part of Henri Prost's redesign of Taksim Square, this niched three-storey casino building stood toward Elmadağ, its form completing the circular surroundings of the Republic Monument. It was demolished in 1957-1958. Until its demolition, many of the most famous performers of the era took the stage here. Source: www.birartibir.org
