Editor's Note
It once stood in Hoca Paşa as a complex together with the Cezayirli Ahmet Paşa Madrasa. The madrasa, which has not survived, is described in a 1914 report as having five rooms around a courtyard, along with a fountain, a water pump, a laundry, a bathing room and ablution facilities. Because the madrasa was in a ruined state at that time, it was not included among the darülhilafe madrasas. In 1918 it was being used as a military provisions distribution point.
