Editor's Note
Opened in the 1930s as a Swiss-style beer hall, Helvetia survives today as a restaurant under the same name. Located on the ground floor of the Zilpoçyan Apartment Building, the venue revealed signage from the original Helvetia when the plaster on its outer wall was being cleaned.
