It is understood that the lodge stood near the Hoca Kasım Mosque, in the vicinity of the Çifte Saraylar on the site of the Public Debt Administration building, which is still used as the Istanbul Boys' High School, and that the lodge was built by the same person. It is reported that during the reign of Ahmed III (1703-1730) it was incorporated into the grounds of the adjacent palace and demolished, and that a dwelling opposite the lodge was given in its place.
