Editor's Note
The Lohusa Sultan Tomb is a mausoleum in the Kasımpaşa quarter of Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, also known as the tomb of "Rahime Hatun" and "Saliha Hatun." It is especially visited by women who are unable to have children. The square, domed structure contains four sarcophagi. Once part of the small cemetery known as Küçük Mezaristan, which disappeared during World War I, the tomb was spared from demolition when the area was laid out as roads and a park in the 1940s.
