Editor's Note
It began teaching in 1926 under the name 9th School. In 1946 the school, which had become the Güzelce Kasım Paşa Primary School, incorporated the Kasımpaşa Coeducational Middle School into its body in 1949. In 1978 the middle school was renamed Ahmet Emin Yalman. In 1989 the two schools were merged to become the Ahmet Emin Yalman Primary School. It is one of ten schools built to the same plan and type in the 1920s. Its architect is unknown.
