Tetimme Medreseleri
Tetimme Medreseleri is a historic building in Fatih, İstanbul; Mûsıle-i Sahn, another name for the Tetimme schools, means "the ones that lead or carry on to the Sahn." Since the Sahn medreses were of the highest rank, the Tetimmes can be regarded as mid-level schools.

Editor's Note
Mûsıle-i Sahn, another name for the Tetimme schools, means "the ones that lead or carry on to the Sahn." Since the Sahn medreses were of the highest rank, the Tetimmes can be regarded as mid-level schools. In the complex's endowment deed they are referred to as "medrese-beççe" (small medrese). A document dated 1197 (1783) (BA, Cevdet-Evkaf, no. 27949) notes that the Tetimmes were renovated in keeping with their former condition. According to this, each medrese had eleven rooms, indicating a total of eighty-eight Tetimme rooms.
