Construction: AH 1256 / AD 1840. Transcription of the inscription: a chronogram in praise of the late sultan's chosen consort and her daughter the Mihrimah-like sultana, who had set out for eternity; the fountain had fallen to ruin, and her mother, marked by virtue, rebuilt it for her soul.
