Editor's Note
The Ezger (Esgher) Synagogue was a synagogue that once stood in the Hasköy neighborhood of Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, near the shores of the Golden Horn. Its construction date is uncertain; the earliest known source mentioning it is the 1912 Annuaire Orientale yearbook. Its architectural features suggest it may have been built in the first half of the 19th century.
