Editor's Note
The Emir Buhari Lodge (tekke) is an Ottoman-era building in the Ayvansaray quarter of Istanbul's Fatih district, registered as a protected cultural property. It was built by Emir Buhari, who brought the Naqshbandi order to Istanbul in the 15th century, and rebuilt in the 19th century. After years of dereliction, it was restored by the Fatih Municipality in 2008.
