In 1765-66, Şeyh Mahmud Burhaneddin Efendi el-Halvetî, one of the deputies of Cemaleddin Uşşaki, drew up an endowment deed on the plot here and expanded the lodge with its outbuildings. It remained attached to the Cemali branch of the Uşşaki order until the closure of the lodges. The lodge's wooden ceremonial hall collapsed in 1932, and its annex was demolished from neglect in 1977; today nothing remains of the lodge but the Tomb of Mahmud Burhaneddin Efendi and a small burial ground.
