Editor's Note
The first small church, dedicated to Saint Anne, was built in 1845–1846 by the Bosnian Franciscan friars. After the wooden church erected here in 1869 was destroyed by an earthquake, the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa—which survives today—was built in its place in 1914. Reference: Salihoğlu, E. F.
