Now serving as the village mosque, the exact construction date of the church is unknown. However, judging from its architectural features, it is understood to have been built during the Russian occupation between 1878 and 1918. The church has a rectangular plan running east to west and a single-nave basilical layout. It was built entirely of finely cut stone. The door and window openings have segmental round arches. The east and west facades of the church are crowned with triangular pediments spanning the full facade, while the north and south facades project forward in two sections, with only those projecting parts finished with triangular pediments.
