Editor's Note
In the building, thought to have been the residence of the religious leader of Kars during the Russian period, the walls and ceiling of the second-floor hall are covered with paintings and decoration. There are six angel figures on the ceiling; among local people it is said that these girls were the priest's daughters. The wall paintings are partly in good condition.
