The exact construction date of the church located in the Marshal Fevzi Çakmak Pasha Barracks (Çakmak East Barracks) is unknown. However, it is thought to have been built between 1878 and 1918, when Kars was under Russian occupation. Today it is used as a mosque. The church has a basilical plan and a single nave. Its apse on the east front is semicircular both inside and out. It has an annex on the north side. Brick and cut-stone materials were used in the façade walls and the apse wall.
