Sırçalı Kümbet

Editor's Note

As the Sırçalı Kümbet has no inscription, it cannot be dated precisely, but it is attributed to between 1335 and 1350, that is, to the Eretna period. Built on a square base, the structure is cylindrical on the outside and dodecagonal on the inside, and is covered with a dome. The square mass on the exterior becomes a circular plan inside, ending in a triple moulding. There is a window on the east face of the dome, while on the north the landing is reached by two facing flights of four steps each.
