It is located within the boundaries of the Erenler neighborhood in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province. The exact date of construction is unknown, but the building is thought to have been erected as a barracks during the Russian occupation of 1878–1918. It also served as a barracks for a time during the Republican period. It is single-storey, rectangular in plan, and made of cut stone.
