Editor's Note
It lies within the bounds of the village of Karaurgan, in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province. It is thought to have been built during the construction work of 1910-1913 on the Kars-Sarıkamış section of the Transcaucasian railway, while Kars was under Russian occupation. The single-storey, rectangular-plan building was constructed of cut stone. Some 20 metres beyond the entrance door is a square-plan water cistern.
