Editor's Note
It lies within the bounds of the Kazım Karabekir neighbourhood, in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province. It is thought to have been built during the construction work of 1910-1913 on the Kars-Sarıkamış section of the Transcaucasian railway, while Kars was under Russian occupation. The single-storey, round-plan structure, thought to have been built to supply water to the nearby Inspectorate Buildings (the locomotive workshops), is roofed with a pyramidal cone.
