Editor's Note
It lies within the bounds of the village of Kocaköy (formerly Nahçevan), in the Digor district of Kars province. Of the church, only three fragments of its north wall and an underground chamber in its southeast section have survived to the present day. The village where the church, whose date of construction and original name are unknown, stands is said to have been the burial place of princes of the Armenian Kamsarakan house in the 4th century. It is presumed that the church was used for this purpose as well.
