Editor's Note
The church, which today functions as a mosque, is dated by researchers to the 7th and 10th centuries. It has a cruciform plan and a central dome. Its dome, however, has not survived to the present day. Beside the entrance door on the south façade, which is now blocked up, there is a sundial motif thought to be original.
