Editor's Note
It stands within the bounds of Sırbasan village in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province. It is thought to have been built between 1910 and 1913, during the construction works on the Kars–Sarıkamış section of the Transcaucasian Railway, in the period when Kars was under Russian occupation. The rectangular, dressed-stone building has a cistern 30 metres to its north. Today it lies in ruins.
