Editor's Note
It was built in 1915 by Muammer Bey, the Governor of Sivas. It is one of the buildings representing the features of the First National Architecture period in the provinces. The building has a U-shaped plan. To the north lies a rectangular-plan hall running east to west. The sections to the east and west of the hall, projecting southward to form the U-shaped plan, were arranged as classrooms and administrative units. Cut stone was used at the door and window arches and at the corners of the body walls, while rubble stone was used elsewhere and plastered over. The ceiling is of wood.
