Editor's Note
The minaret of the mosque built by Zaralızâde Mehmed Pasha in the 18th century (given that he died in 1755, it can be said to have been built around the mid-18th century) was constructed by Zaralızâde Lütfullah Pasha in 1809. Sources mention that Mehmed Pasha endowed an inn in Zara and certain other works for this mosque, but no information about the endowment deed has been found.
