According to its heavily damaged inscription, the fountain was built in 1297 AH (1880 AD). The inscription reads: 'He who built these fountains, may Allah accept his good deed, 1297.' This semi-attached fountain with a triangular pediment, built against a wall and with its upper part now plastered over in concrete, is reached by a two-step stair. Built of cut stone and rubble stone, the niche of the fountain is framed by a round arch, much disfigured, resting on masonry piers.
