Editor's Note
It is located on the right side of the road as you enter Ahlat from the direction of Tatvan (opposite the Meydanlik cemetery), near Lake Van, at the site popularly known as 'Eyiler.' The tomb has no surviving inscription. However, the inscription of the nearby Sadi Aka (Agha) tomb to the northeast, of which only ruins remain, was found among the stones and read as 1300 (late 13th century). No trace of it survives today. Considering its construction technique and decorative features, it is accepted as having been built around 1285.
