Location and Setting: It stands in front of the Kaya Apartment building, No. 9, on Gariboglu Street in the Tasbasi quarter of the Hekimhan district. Current Condition: The fountain no longer flows today and is unused. During road works, its resting bench and basin were left below road level. Commissioned by: Because the inscription is partly effaced, the patron could not be read. History: Although part of the text cannot be read owing to the heavy damage to the inscription, the phrase AH 1279 shows that it was built in AD 1862. Inscription: Largely destroyed, measuring 30 x 60 cm, set on the pointed arch.
