Editor's Note

Location and Setting: It was built at a corner on 2nd Street of Inonu Avenue in the Sehit Fethi Akyuz quarter of the Hekimhan district, with its front face turned toward the street to the north. It now stands within the park on Inonu Avenue. Current Condition: Originally located at a corner of Inonu Avenue, the fountain was moved into the park on Inonu Avenue during road works and rebuilt with its front face turned to the north. During the move, damage occurred to its water spout, water trough, and resting benches, and the joints of the cut-stone structure were filled with cement plaster.
