Location and Setting: It stands in a garden beside the Meryem Bibi House, on Street 2 in the Bagyolu quarter of the Hekimhan district. Current Condition: The fountain still flows today and has ended up among gardens. The stones of its canopy have shifted in place and some have crumbled away. On the side of the right wall, the resting bench has been left below ground level due to soil slippage. Commissioned by: According to the inscription, it was commissioned in the name of Cemil, son of Abdullah. History: According to the inscription on the pointed arch, it was built in AH 1250 (AD 1830).
