Location and Setting: It stands on Kale Street in the Fatih quarter of the Hekimhan district, at the corner of Inonu Avenue and Kale Street. No trace of the castle survives today. It lies within the neighborhood, behind the Tashan in the district center. Current Condition: The fountain no longer flows today and is unused; its water trough and resting bench have been left below road level. The masonry between the cut stones at the spandrels of the arch and between the regular cut stones forming the pointed arch of the fountain has burst. Some stones on the front and rear faces of the fountain have fallen.
