The Beylerbeyi Mustafa Paşa Mosque was built after 1571 and before 20 January 1616. The structure was erected within the city walls of Van, near Mustafa Paşa's house. According to endowment records, the mosque was a solid masonry building with four straight walls and more than one dome, and it had no minaret. The building is described as magnificent. The identity of the mosque's architect is unknown. Its location has not been precisely determined, but it is said to have been in the vicinity of the Hüsrev Paşa Mosque.
