It is a mosque built in the 1800s on the far side of the Ceyhan River, at the foot of Mount Şar. It has the character of a small mescit. Built in the classical Ottoman style, it uses ashlar stone as its building material. It has a single dome and a single minaret. It was restored by the Directorate General of Foundations in 2009.
